Cold forming is a high speed manufacturing process that causes metal to flow into a variety of shapes by applying forces greater than a metal's elastic limit.
By contrast, screw machine equipment removes metal by cutting, resulting in significant amounts of scrap, which adds to the total cost of manufacturing.
